Rampini Research Honored with Jensen Prize

Research by Adriano Rampini, Associate Professor of Finance, and co-author Andrea Eisfeldt of Northwestern University, was recently honored by the Journal of Financial Economics. Rampini and Eisfeldt received second place in the Jensen Prize, an annual award recognizing the best papers in the areas of corporate finance and organizations that were published in the Journal of Financial Economics during the previous year.
Rampini and Eisfeldt received the prize for "Managerial incentives, capital reallocation, and the business cycle," a paper examining the relationship between compensation and managers' willingness to reallocate underperforming resources to other business units.
