The Global Executive program and curriculum are designed for senior executives looking to take the career turn into the executive suite as leaders of global enterprises.
The curriculum includes 8 core modules, 3 multi-term courses, plus an option to take electives and earn a concentration.
Core Modules
Modules include advanced, elective-like material and standard MBA core curriculum creating a robust, intentional core set of classes that are uniquely relevant to senior executives who need to address complex business problems. The modules span the functional spectrum within business:- Accounting
- Decision Sciences
- Economics
- Finance
- Management
- Marketing
- Operations
- Strategy
Multi-Term Courses
Two courses—one focused on global markets and institutions and the other on cultures and civilizations—draw their content from the regions to which you travel for residencies. You will understand the implications of leading a global firm because you will study, discuss, and experience the way in which region-specific institutions, markets, cultures, and civilizations both enhance and hinder international commerce.A third multi-term course addresses the unique leadership and personal development issues facing senior executives, such as developing skills to effectively conduct external corporate relations with media, regulators, and shareholders.
- After individual assessments, you will work on a personal opportunity to apply classroom constructs to your unique work situation.
- A personal coach will advise you throughout the course.
Optional Electives/Concentration
Electives give you the opportunity to specialize in one function or industry and help to sharpen and/or broaden your business knowledge. For additional tuition, you may choose to participate in a shared electives term with students from our Weekend Executive and Cross Continent MBA programs. If you participate in electives, you may further elect to pursue a concentration, which would require you to take certain electives and conduct a substantial independent project with a faculty advisor. You may choose one of several concentrations:- Energy and Environment
- Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- Finance
- Marketing
- Strategy
- Health Sector Management
