  Daytime Cross Continent Weekend Executive Global Executive
Applicants' career stage Average 5 years of work experience. Three to 9 years of professional work experience. Average is 6 years. Minimum of 5 years professional work experience. Average is 10 years. Ten to 30 years professional work experience. Average is 14 years.
Program emphasis Understanding the intersection of the various healthcare players and the skills necessary to manage within and/or lead an organization.  Honing functional expertise and the ability to think strategically in a global business environment. Solid foundation in integrated management of the firm. International exposure and substantial use of technology broadens mindset to promote understanding business on a global level. Understanding the skills necessary to lead an organization. Honing functional expertise and the ability to think strategically in a global business environment. Understanding the interactive effects of industries and firms on a global basis. Significant collaboration and transfer of knowledge via international residencies. 
Program Length Two years full-time. 19 months (six terms). 19 months (six terms). 18 months (five terms).  Additional post-MBA coursework for HSM certificate.
Residency August - May for two years with a summer internship between first and second year of program. Nine weeks total.  Two weeks in London, UK. 9 days each in Dubai, UAE,  New Delhi, India, Shanghai/Kunshan, China and  St. Petersburg, Russia. Two weeks in Durham, NC. Residencies are preceded by a pre-reading period and followed by 2 months of distance learning. After a 1 week orientation, classes are held on alternating weekends on Fridays and Saturdays in Terms 1 - 5, with accommodations provided on Friday nights. Term 6 sessions are held on campus for 2 weeks with the remainder of the term completed online. Ten weeks total.  Four weeks in North America and two weeks in Europe, Latin America, and Asia.  Residencies are preceded by a reading period followed by 10 weeks of Internet-enabled distance learning.
HSM requirements for the Concentration The HSM concentration is not available in the daytime format. CCMBA core curriculum, HSM Fundamentals course, one HSM course, one healthcare-specific elective and an HSM Project course. WEMBA core curriculum, HSM Fundamentals course, one HSM course, one healthcare-specific elective and an HSM Project course. The HSM Concentration is not available in the GEMBA format.
HSM requirements for the Certificate Daytime core curriculum, two HSM courses, an HSM seminar series, plus three health care-specific electives. CCMBA core curriculum, HSM Fundamentals course, one HSM course, three healthcare-specific electives and an HSM Project course. WEMBA core curriculum, HSM Fundamentals course, one HSM course, three healthcare-specific electives and an HSM Project course. GEMBA core curriculum, HSM Fundamentals course, one HSM course and two healthcare-specific electives.
Additional costs The HSM concentration is not available in the daytime format. No additional tuition charge for CCMBA students. No additional tuition charge for Weekend Executive students.
 No additional tuition charge for Global Executive students who complete the HSM certificate within one year of graduation.*
